What is CityFest?

It's an awesome two-day event we’re looking forward to in September with all kinds of activities, music, speakers, food – but it’s more than that! It’s an effort to unite churches across denominational, economic and ethnic lines to love and serve the Greater West Michigan community and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus!

Before You Read More…

… we’re asking you to please pray! Pray for the event – that it will be a way for people to come to know Jesus in a real way. Also, pray about who you can invite September 8&9 – especially those who don’t have a relationship with Jesus.

CityFest is More Than the Two-Day Celebration!

The vision is to see the Christian community in West Michigan come together in greater unity, service – showing the community at-large the joy, peace, love, and grace of Jesus!

Together, as the Body of Christ, we want to celebrate and accelerate the work of the Church over the long term, helping further influence culture, change lives, and inspire other cities to do the same.

Cornerstone is one of many churches participating in CityFest. In addition to the two-day festival, there’s a movement of churches collaborating to educate, link and mobilize people to love and serve West Michigan like Jesus. It is called One West Michigan. One West Michigan is focused on these three initiatives: Racial Equity, Affordable Housing, and Education (Church/School Partnerships).

More specifics about the event in September will be available from CityFest soon. But in the meantime, here’s more information about:

Festival Friends Needed!

We are in need of nearly 4,000 Festival Friends for CityFest on September 8 & 9. July and August, there are 5 live trainings (click the butten below for more info.)

What's the job of a festival friend? It's simple. It’s a 10-minute conversation to introduce yourself, listen to the story of the person who responds to the Gospel, gather their information to get them plugged into a local church, and to pray with them. That’s it!

This is a simple and special way for you to make a difference in lives for eternity!
