CornerKids Policies & Procedures

Attention Parents!

Please take a minute and read about two important new CornerKids policies!

  • Healthy Child Policy

Our kids ministries are designed for healthy children. We ask that you please not leave your child in their room if they have any of the following symptoms:

    • Any degree of fever
    • Vomiting or diarrhea in the past 24 hours
    • A cough associated with a respiratory infection
    • Runny nose with yellow or green color discharge
    • Eye/Ear infections
    • Contagious skin rash
    • Unusual fatigue or irritability

If your child has any of the above symptoms please wait until the symptoms are gone before bringing them to their room. This will help keep all of the children as healthy as possible.

  • Check In/Out Procedures — 84th Street Campus

Our Check-In Program is designed to keep the kids ministries areas secure, especially during drop-off and pick-up.

    • Check In

Parents use a touch screen monitor to check-in their children. The check-in system will produce a name badge for the child and a claim ticket for you, (the parent/guardian). Check-in is as simple as entering your phone number starting with the area code and it will bring up your family and then click on your child(ren) that will attend. If you need help, someone will be available to help you. Once you are entered into the system, we have the ability to send you a text message if you are needed during the service.

Key tags are also available to check in your child(ren) quickly and save you time. Please see the Guest Service Volunteer for key tags.

    • Check Out

You must present your claim ticket to pick up your child. This is vital to the safety of the kids. Children will only be dismissed to their parent that shows the claim ticket that was issued to them at check- in.

If you are needed during the service, you will be texted or your child's security number will be placed on the main screen in the service. You may then go to the CornerKids Guest Service desk and the volunteer will let you in the CornerKids area to pick up your child.
